Best place I've found to buy a mold

Lyman has been making highest quality molds longer than most if not all of using them have been alive. they are well designed and made and with little care and attention will give several lifetime's of service. Tthe fact that Adorama is offering them at most reasonable prices makes them a premium source. The offerings from Lyman are declining and old mold styles and weights are falling away each year. if you haven't bought one you need don't wait too long to get it ordered.

The Lyman 2670429 4-Cavity Bullet Mould is made from solid leaded-steel and machined to an exact and smooth super fine finish. The moulds is then heat treated (that is why it is blue in color) and feature hardened steel alignment pins to provide many years of bullet casting service. Sprue plates is made from solid steel, ground flat and held tightly in place with tempered steel spring washers and screws. In addition, break-in is often half the time required for iron moulds.
