What sets the Mackie 24-Channel 4-Bus FX Mixer with USB apart is its exceptional performance for both live sound and recording applications. This mixer, renowned for its low noise-floor and high headroom, carries forward Mackie's legacy of superior sound quality, building upon the widespread acclaim of the VLZ3 range while integrating innovative features.
The VLZ4 range introduces upgraded mic preamps, featuring 20 Onyx units, previously exclusive to Mackie's premium mixers. These high-quality preamps offer 60dBs of gain, extended frequency response, and remarkably low distortion, ensuring flawless translation of any source material from any microphone.
Each mono channel is equipped with a high-headroom line input, a three-band sweepable midrange EQ, level, pan, solo, and overload/mute LEDs. Additionally, an 18dB/oct highpass filter is included on each mic input for enhanced sound control. For advanced tone-shaping, channels 17-20 come with dedicated compression, and dual 32-bit RMFX processors offer a range of reverbs, choruses, and tap delays, making it an ideal choice for gigging engineers.
The mixer also features a 4x2 24-bit USB interface, enabling you to stream the master output or a subgroup to a computer for recording. It also allows live use of your plug-ins via auxes 5/6 and can function as a stereo return to mains for playback or to a channel for accessing the EQ and auxes.
The mixer's comprehensive design includes 20 mono channels, two stereo channels, and four subgroups, combined with six aux sends with inserts, pre/post fader, and internal/external FX send options, offering unparalleled flexibility.
The Mackie 24-Channel 4-Bus FX Mixer with USB is finished off with 60mm log-taper faders, sealed rotary controls, high-res 12 segment meters, and a robust steel chassis, making it ready for gigs and tours right out of the box. This mixer is designed to meet and exceed all your live or studio mixer requirements.
