Over the years, Mackie has become synonymous with professional, high-quality sound equipment, and the Mackie 32-Channel 4-Bus FX Mixer with USB is no exception. Designed for both live sound and recording use, this durable and versatile mixer is equipped with a low noise-floor and high headroom, a signature feature of Mackie's sound equipment.
Building on the universal success of the VLZ3 range, the 3204VLZ4 model introduces new features, including 28 updated Onyx mic preamps, previously exclusive to Mackie's high-end mixers. These superior preamps deliver a remarkable 60dBs of gain, an extended frequency response, and incredibly low distortion, ensuring flawless translation of any source material from any microphone.
Each mono channel on this reliable mixer is equipped with a high-headroom line input, a three-band sweepable midrange EQ, level, pan, solo, and overload/mute LEDs. Additionally, an 18dB/oct highpass filter is available on each mic input. For enhanced tone-shaping, channels 25-28 feature dedicated compression, and dual 32-bit RMFX processors offer a range of reverbs, choruses, and tap delays, making this mixer an ideal choice for gigging engineers.
The 3204VLZ4 also boasts a 4x2 24-bit USB interface, allowing you to stream either the master output or a subgroup to a computer for recording. This feature also enables you to use your plug-ins live via auxes 5/6 and use the system as a stereo return to mains for playback or to a channel to access the EQ and auxes.
With 28 mono channels, two stereo channels, and four subgroups, this mixer offers unparalleled flexibility. It also includes six aux sends with inserts, pre/post fader, and internal/external FX send options. The mixer is completed with 60mm log-taper faders, sealed rotary controls, high-res 12 segment meters, and an incredibly rugged steel chassis, making it tour-ready straight out of the box.
In summary, the Mackie 32-Channel 4-Bus FX Mixer with USB is a testament to Mackie's commitment to delivering professional, high-quality, and reliable audio equipment. Whether you're a live sound engineer or a recording artist, this mixer is designed to handle all your needs.
