From live performances to sophisticated fixed installations, the Marani DPA2655QR Speaker Management System stands as a versatile and essential tool for audio professionals. Engineered for optimal flexibility, this advanced system delivers comprehensive processing and control capabilities to meet the demands of both dynamic live events and the precision required for fixed setups.
At the heart of the DPA2655QR lies a robust DSP Engine, ensuring seamless audio management across its 2 analog inputs, 6 analog outputs, and a digital S/PDIF input. High-fidelity sound is guaranteed with top-tier 24-bit AD/DA converters, achieving a pristine audio signal with a broad frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz.
Each input channel of the DPA2655QR is equipped with a 5-band Parametric EQ, allowing for meticulous sound shaping, alongside Gain control and configurable Delay to align audio perfectly in time and space. The output channels are equally impressive, each featuring up to 5 bands of parametric equalization. Users can sculpt the sound with precision, utilizing filter types such as Bell, Low/High Shelving, Low/High-Pass, All-Pass, Band-Pass, and Notch. The shelving and pass filters offer 1st and 2nd order selections with variable Q responses, catering to a wide range of acoustic environments.
Crossover configurations are made simple and effective with filters that provide slopes from a gentle 6dB/Octave to a steep 24dB/Octave. These include industry-standard Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley, and customizable filter topologies, ensuring compatibility with virtually any speaker setup.
Dynamic range control is expertly handled by each output's precision Peak Limiter and RMS Compressor, featuring selectable ratios and variable knees for smooth and transparent sound limiting. The system also allows for up to 850 ms of adjustable Delay on every input and output channel, providing the ability to correct phase issues and align sound across different speaker zones.
The DPA2655QR's full matrix mixing capabilities enable users to route and mix inputs to any output in any ratio, offering unparalleled flexibility in sound design. Remote configuration and control are made possible through both USB and Ethernet connections, with the accompanying PC software facilitating the management of up to 32 units simultaneously, setting parameters and monitoring real-time levels.
For on-site adjustments, the front panel boasts an interactive LCD display and 7-LED level meter indicators per channel, ensuring quick and easy access to system settings. The system also features up to 64 storable user presets for rapid setup recall, and a security lockout function to prevent unauthorized changes.
Whether it's for a concert hall, theater, house of worship, or conference center, the Marani DPA2655QR Speaker Management System with Matrix Mixer is engineered to deliver exceptional audio control with precision and ease, making it an indispensable asset for any professional audio setup.
