The Marshall 18.5" ORCHID Rack Mount LCD Desktop Monitor includes a host of production tools used by video professionals along with 3D monitoring and analysis functions, making it ideal for post production and editing environments. This monitor supports high video resolutions up to 1366 x 768, which allows you to monitor video from any source or aspect ratio.

Along with 2 auto-sensing 3G-SDI inputs with active loop-through, the Orchid features DVI-I, HD-VGA and analog inputs. A high contrast of 1000:1 facilitates high quality display for a clear and precise read out. It also comes with 7 user-assignable function keys and 4 rotary encoders for simple access to various monitor settings and functions.

You could use this monitor to review 3D video content with options such as side-by-side 3D inputs, 3D review and anaglyph 3D views. Analysis functions and measured data graphics are displayed as overlays without disturbing the original video content. Additional display options include full screen views of the Waveform (with white and black clip level indicators), Vectorscope (with adjustable gain level from 1 to 5x), audio data and "Quad View" layouts.

The Orchid is capable of de-embedding and displaying up to 16 channels of audio using up to sixteen 64-segment tri-color audio meters with user-adjustable reference levels. Headroom levels and a peak hold function is represented numerically by the audio meter. Additionally, an audio channel loss warning feature alerts you to errors detected while monitoring. Equipped with front panel stereo speakers, integrated carrying handle and desktop stand, this unit can be used as a portable stand alone monitor. An optional rack mount kit with tilt capability is also available.
