Manfrotto "Advanced" Series - Gear Backpack M

I've been looking for a compact, smaller, lightweight, good quality daily backpack to carry a Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR camera and some related gear. The backpack I've been researching is not intended for hiking or carrying lots of gear for long distances. I'm getting older and photography gear gets heavier every day for me. I've been carefully checking internal and external dimensions, weight, materials, design, quality, price and other criteria. As most other photographers I do have several good bags including sling, shoulder, backpacks and handbags. But photographers never find the "perfect" ideal bag for everything. There is none to be found. It all depends on the gear and the intended use. Brands I own to carry gear include Lowepro, Tarmac, Think-tank. I own several Canon lenses including the Canon EF 16-35mm f/ 4L IS USM, the EF 24-105 f/ 4 L IS and the 100-400 f/ 4.5-5.6 L II USM plus several other primes. Not that I want to carry all my gear in a single backpack but the bags I have can carry too much or not enough. I needed a compact backpack that could carry just enough. Not an easy task. Many dozens of researched bags were reduced to three final choices from which I selected the Manfrotto Gear Backpack M. ADORAMA had this item available for the right price and they delivered FAST. So far I have no regrets with my purchase and ADORAMA is one of the best sources for anything photographic. The Manfrotto " Advanced" Series Gear Backpack M is a strong and versatile camera back pack with well designed, protective features that stores and carries your camera gear in one neat, light weight and compact package. The Gear Backpack model comes in small, medium and large sizes. The "M" size is: External Dimensions 11.02 x 7.48 x 13.78 in Internal Dimensions 9.84 x 4.72 x 12.99 in The Gear Backpack M can keep my Canon EOS 6D Mark II with my 100-400mm lens attached in place, as well as additional lenses. If you have instead a 70-200 zoom you should be able to keep it attached to your camera in this bag with space to spare. Interchangeable modular dividers are included inside the Backpack. These dividers are easy to use and allow you to custom fit the inside of your bag around your gear by creating the exact size compartment for your gear. Dual zipper compartments will allow access to your accessories, such as batteries, cables, cleaning cloths, camera cards and more can all be stored. A small tripod can be attached to the side with a strap. This backpack with its padded back and wide adjustable shoulder straps is comfortable for me when loaded (I'm a medium frame 5-10 about 160 lbs. man). It does not have chest or waist straps because it is a compact backpack and this type of additional support is not necessary like it may be needed in bigger backpacks. Manfrotto manufactures this bag with a good quality nylon material. The finish is good and the bag feels good and strong in the hand. Strong Manfrotto zippers. No irregularities nor poor stitching. Nice hand strap on the top that'll securely hold the bag fully loaded. Nothing flimsy that will rip away after a couple of lifts. You should have no trouble including this backpack with your carry-on baggage when travelling. Manfrotto say a specially applied coating to the fabric keeps it resistant to moisture. The camera back pack is also delivered with a rain cover for extra protection against wet and damp weather. Standard warranty is one year and Manfrotto offers a warranty extension for up to 5 years by registering online within 12 months from the purchase. I hope the following links can connect to videos relating to the reviewed Gear Backpack: https://vimeo.com/76149944 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdQc9XpVoDM I found no valid reasons to deny this backpack the full five stars for this positive review, even if someone may find it not be a "perfect" backpack.
