The magnets are terrible but it looks great

Looks amazing, I've gotten a lot of compliments. It holds all of my gear except the most important thing, the camera. My brand new nikon z7 fell right out of it lifting the bag out of the car. Needs more safety straps inside. Speaking of straps, the magnets are terrible.

Nice Looking Bag

I have a few Manfrotto backpacks, and this one is certainly the most handsome, though it has a few quirks. The material is absolutely beautiful. The matte gray is a beautiful match to the tartan interior, and the leather accents are quite nice. The back is padded and sits well on my back without being uncomfortable. There is enough space in the top section to fit a dopp kit and fresh shirt for overnight trips, or plenty of extra bits for a larger shoot. There is also a padded section inside that allows you to fit a full size MacBook. There are two things I don't care for - the first is a personal preference; The camera area opens to the side only. I know that Manfrotto did this on purpose so that you could swing the bag to your side and retrieve your camera without removing the backpack, but it's awkward on a table to turn the whole thing sideways to retrieve your gear. My Manfrotto Advanced backpack's front-facing opening just seems more efficient. The other quirk is with the straps. While functional, the top straps are not adjustable and close with a magnetic snap, which means that if you really fill up the top section, good luck trying to get the straps to stay closed. I also wish that the tripod straps (which are completely adjustable and have buckle closures) were vertical, as my 290X is too long to reasonably carry horizontally. The quirks are the only thing that would prevent me from giving 5 stars. Aside from those little finicky issues, it's a beautiful bag.
