This does function, but it covers the edges of the sensor once you zoom in with a longer lens. The electronics also didn?t seem to work.

A little tight into the Sony mount, but works well as advertised. Good value for the money.

I gave this product a 4 out of 5 since I love the quality build of this adapter but will unfortunately be selling it already. Very sturdy and durable but also why it’s a bit clunkier than I had expected. I guess that’s just me being a bit picky with my gear but I do love that it feels like a good amount of money and thought went into making this adapter. It works great with my Nikon G lenses and haven’t really noticed a big difference from using it on my D750 so will need to test that area a bit more before concluding anything. I’ve come to realize that the downside to using Nikon F mounted glass is that I haven’t been able to find any adapters to work with my Sigma 24mm ART f1.4 yet and have heard mixed reviews on the pricy MC-11 adapter that seems to be mainly for Canon mount glass. Will most likely be selling my Sigma ART lens to pick up the Sony 24-105 f4 G lens intead.

I've only used it a few times but it seems to work just as it should. Very sturdy construction.

Metabones makes great products. this adapter is well-made. But if you have any lenses that do not have their own iris rings, this adapter will not work. So be careful when selecting which adapter to purchase.

I conected my Nikon 28-300 lens to my A7Rii and shooting manual I could only adjust shutter speed. The aperture does not work. This adapter is useless.

Does what it’s supposed to. Only for full manual use on lenses with manual aperature control abilities. For what it is, it’s quite expensive.

Product was not what I thought. Didn't seem to work well with my lenses. Picture quality was not what it should be.

No auto focus using Nikon glass with a Sony a6300 is the only downside. Using this with a Nikor 50mm 1.4 and the in camera mag focus assist you have the sharpest focus I have ever seen.

I went out with my D800 and a large telephoto, and on my Sony I used the Metabones with my 20mm Nikon. Light, easy to carry in addition to the big set up, and I got to use this lens which otherwise was gathering dust. Works great but no autofocus, but with the 20mm you just set it to Infiniti and shoot stopped down. It is nice to be able to carry both cameras now, and to be using lenses that otherwise stay home. And no need to buy other lenses!

Metabones has been designing and manufacturing lens adapters recognized among professionals and enthusiasts as leaders in design and workmanship. Contrary to the popular trend of other factories using an aluminum ring painted black on the camera-body-side, we instead take no short-cut but use precision-machined brass with chromium plating on both the camera-body and the lens sides of our adapters, in order to ensure smooth mounting, great appearance and durability.
The lens side of the adapter features a strong leaf-spring structure, strengthening the adapter-lens connection and ensuring tightness of the lens in order to reduce wear and prevent focus errors and optical alignment issues from appearing. Metabones uses matte-black treatment to keep internal reflection to a minimum in order to maintain the maximum optical quality possible with the lens. All Metabones Adapters follow this tradition of uncompromising precision, robust build quality and outstanding finish.
