Sandi P : Will this work on a Sony A7rii with a Nikkor AF f-mount lens - and will autofocus still work?DENNIS T : The Nikon lenses will mount but you have to manually focus the lens. There's no electronics to drive the focus motor in each lens.MAXIMUS L : Yes, the Nikon mount lenses all work with this adapter. Trust me, you're fine there. In regards to autofocus, however, due to the lens not being actually connected to the camera, it lacks an electronic connection and the autofocus doesn't work with the adapter. Hope that helps.Downer D : This adapter does NOT couple auto focus from the Nikon lens., I use mine in manual mode for long exposure astro photography on a Sony A6000. JOHN I : I would like to use this adapter with Nikkor AI Manual focus lenses. The ad copy for says "Reach infinity focus with correct registration distance" Does that mean the distance markings on the lens barrel are accurate over the entire range of subject distances, or only at infinity? I depend on distance markings for focusing. I do not focus through the viewfinder.JAROLD H : Yes.

Okay

This does function, but it covers the edges of the sensor once you zoom in with a longer lens. The electronics also didn?t seem to work.

Great quality product but not for me....

I gave this product a 4 out of 5 since I love the quality build of this adapter but will unfortunately be selling it already. Very sturdy and durable but also why it’s a bit clunkier than I had expected. I guess that’s just me being a bit picky with my gear but I do love that it feels like a good amount of money and thought went into making this adapter. It works great with my Nikon G lenses and haven’t really noticed a big difference from using it on my D750 so will need to test that area a bit more before concluding anything. I’ve come to realize that the downside to using Nikon F mounted glass is that I haven’t been able to find any adapters to work with my Sigma 24mm ART f1.4 yet and have heard mixed reviews on the pricy MC-11 adapter that seems to be mainly for Canon mount glass. Will most likely be selling my Sigma ART lens to pick up the Sony 24-105 f4 G lens intead.

well made, but lacking iris ring

Metabones makes great products. this adapter is well-made. But if you have any lenses that do not have their own iris rings, this adapter will not work. So be careful when selecting which adapter to purchase.

Not worth the money

I conected my Nikon 28-300 lens to my A7Rii and shooting manual I could only adjust shutter speed. The aperture does not work. This adapter is useless.

Simple yet pricy

Does what it’s supposed to. Only for full manual use on lenses with manual aperature control abilities. For what it is, it’s quite expensive.

No auto focus using Nikon glass with a Sony a6300 is the only downside

No auto focus using Nikon glass with a Sony a6300 is the only downside. Using this with a Nikor 50mm 1.4 and the in camera mag focus assist you have the sharpest focus I have ever seen.
