Loved the interior of the bag! Wished I could have used it, but the hip support was a thin strap that didn't do anything. I returned the item. If you don't want the hip support, then this is fantastic, but it is really too big to go without.

I took my Nikon D800 and 200-500mm lens into the camera store to see if it will fit. I laid it in the center of the bag and it fit perfectly, even with the hood cover on (not in the shooting position). When I got it home I added a 70-200mm 2.8, 24-70mm, 2.8, teleconverter and batteries, card etc. Then I was still able to put in my laptop. When I picked it up it was pretty heavy but it held together. I grabbed a flight to Florida and all worked well. I'm think this was a great decision.

I have a much larger backpack for carrying a lot of gear, but I don't always want to take it all every time I go shooting. The Manfrotto Pro Backpack 30 is the perfect size for carrying my camera, a long lens, a couple of smaller lenses, and a flash, along with a few cords and filters. It is sturdy, comfortable, and just the right size for giving me lots of options in the field without weighing me down.

I put 2 DSL bodies and 4 lens with battery packs and a point N shoot inside this bag with many extra batteries and such.

This holds 2 bodies or more without lens attached. But the main area has my very long lens and body attached.

This lets me take my larger cameras with battery grips attached along with other lens and bodies.

Enjoying this bag so far. Quality of construction is really good, and aesthetically it looks really cool. Only downside to build quality is that it's pretty stiff, so zippers are pretty tight, but will probably relax a but once broken in. I can for two pro bodies in (one with, one without lens attached) along with several more lenses, a flash unit, and various accessories. Haven't tried tripod strap yet, nor have I taken it as an airplane carry- on, but seems like it will fit in overhead just fine, even on the regional jets I find myself on. Overall, very pleased with purchase, delivered in two days by Adorama.
