The zippers on my old Brenthaven BX2 were starting to break after many years, and I would have gladly bought another one, but they don't seem to make them any more. I eventually settled on the Manfrotto, and it's a larger backpack than the Brenthaven (it could carry two bodies plusat least 3 lenses with ease). I use it for a Canon 70D and three lenses (one is a tele), plus a flash, and there's plenty of room left over. It has plenty of pockets for memory cards, lens wipes, instruction booklets, chargers, etc., and it comes with a rain cover. If you register it, they give you an extended warranty (7 years). My main criticism is that it comes without instructions, so you're on your own when it comes to figuring out the best way to pack it. Even a few photos showing possible layouts would have been a big help, but there just isn't much there to guide you, but it's not a big drawback. Also, the zippers don't have that heavy-duty feel to them, but that's just an impression - with a 7 year warranty, it will probably be OK.

People like Terrance, Jeffery and and Ranjith do not understand the rating system. Your comments do not match a FOUR STAR review and hurts the sales for this company. Side pouches not useful enough? Seriously? Four stars because of that? This is an AMAZING BACKPACK that is larger and better designed than any bag out there - I have been (literally) looking for a "LARGE" bag for two months - everything out there is a maximum of 17" and it is tiny. Even the Billingham bag I bought for ($) came in and it was so small! Bag companies don't understand wedding photography and are totally missing the boat on designing a nice wedding photography bag! But this bag is as nice as it gets to fit my needs. I would still like it larger - but no one has the balls to make a nice big and super functional bag!

It is a nice looking bag and will protect your gear nicely. The dividers are well padded and will stay attach. I returned this backpack because for the size it didn't hold much more gear than my Tenba backpack of a smaller size. The external pockets I though were useless, you cannot put much of anything in them. This was part of the reason why I couldn't fit much more gear into this bag. Items I had in the pockets of the Tenba bag had to be place in the inside compartment of the Manfrotto. The removable pouches is nice but I found them difficult to zip open and close when in the bag, because of this I would most likely just leave them unzipped. And lastly the main zipper looked to me to be on the weak side, especially when you compare it to a Tenba bag. I was concerned that it wouldn't hold up, especially if stressed. Maybe it will but that is just how it seemed to me. Because I didn't really gain much as far as space, disappointing external pockets and concerns over the zippers...I decided this bag wasn't for me. I place an order for a Tenba Shootout 32L backpack mainly because of the quality of the Tenba bag I own. Fingers crossed that this will be the one.

Strong construction, spacious enough to carry 2 full frame bodies with battery grip, tele lenses, flash, extra batteries, remotes, battery charger and lap top. Good padding on back straps.
