MATT S : How wide is the area for light stands? Is the Velcro weak as has been previously mentioned?Faye L : The area is adjustable, but I have 3 strobes in the case with light modifies on ones side. With these XPLOR 600 PRO strobes, it leaves me with roughly 6.5 inches wide and 10 inches tall for the stands and tripods. The Manfroot 1004 stands fit perfectly with a couple inches of extra room for reference. Plenty of room for a couple stands and tripod. The velcro seems to be sturdy but the separator or partition is a bit flimsy just because of its length. The case is long and so is the divider, with enough support once everything is packed in. Velcro parts are small strips but hold in the inserts but after removing them over and over again they could become weak as any velcro. I have had zero issues and the case was used a number of time on location. Case is very large and has issues fitting in normal sized trunks, I have a Subaru Outback and it barely fits in cargo area with 1 inch clearance.ANDREW R : Internal compartment dimensions: 42.52 x 15.75 x 9.45" (108.00 x 40.00 x 24.00cm)

A good purchase on sale at $. At list price go with the Think Tank rollers.

At $ it’s a no brainer if you need a lot of non critical space. I already have a Think Tank Production Manager 40 as my main bag. The PM 40 is in another league. It just blows away the Manfrotto bag. It’s much more substantial and has many more features. It’s not even a fair comparison. I bought this extra large Manfrotto bag to hold my 12.5’ light stands, as well as other large items such as modifiers. For that, this Manfrotto will do fine. I would never pay list price for this bag though. At list price I would’ve just gone with the PM 50 to hold my big stuff that wouldn’t fit in the PM 40.
