With the Nikon F Lens to Canon RF Mount T Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x Adapter, you can unlock the full potential of your Nikon F lenses on a Canon RF mount camera. This high-quality, durable adapter is designed with an innovative 5-element/4-group optical design, incorporating ultra-high index tanatalum-based optical glass. This advanced design ensures extraordinary optical performance, enhancing corner sharpness, reducing distortion, and minimizing vignetting.
Like its predecessor, the original Metabones Speed Booster, this ULTRA version offers a magnification of 0.71x, effectively reducing the crop factor of mirrorless cameras with DX-sized sensors. This makes it an ideal choice for photographers using Sony E-mount and Fuji X-mount cameras. The ULTRA design utilizes exotic materials at the cutting edge of glassmaking technology, resulting in a product that is well corrected for use with virtually all full-frame SLR lenses, regardless of exit pupil distance.
The Speed Booster ULTRA excels with professional-grade f/2.8 zoom lenses, transforming them into high-speed zooms with improved contrast and resolution from the center to the edges of the image. This versatile adapter is also compatible with high-speed fixed focal length lenses, enhancing their performance and image quality.
Metabones is renowned for its precision design and robust build quality. The Nikon F Lens to Canon RF Mount T Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x Adapter is no exception. It features a precision-machined brass construction with chromium plating on both the camera-body and lens sides, ensuring smooth mounting and durability. The lens side of the adapter boasts a strong leaf-spring structure, enhancing the adapter-lens connection and reducing wear.
This compact adapter also offers true electronic integration of the aperture diaphragm, allowing for automatic aperture selection in P or S exposure modes, or manual selection on the camera body in A or M modes. It also supports EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length, and aperture. The adapter is compatible with a wide range of Nikkor F-mount lenses, including the Nikkor G series, AF-D, AI-P, AIS, AI, and non-AI lenses.
