Everything I expected.

Both the glass and the bezel are thick on this lens, about twice the thickness of the typical filter. It is threaded on both the front and rear.

Great Low Tech Option vs Expensive Lens

If you need super high resolution and/or wide depth of field, this product is not for you. But, if you want excellent close-ups of flat or "shallow 3D" objects, this filter is about one-tenth the cost of a close-up lens!
