These filters add distortion around the periphery of images, but that's to be expected, especially at this price point. They do allow focusing on closer objects than would normally be possible, but don't expect magic. These are best suited for playing around with macro photography without investing in expensive dedicated macro lenses.

These work great individually or in combination of two or three. They allow you to get a little closer to your subject very easily, without the weird effects of extension tubes or reversing rings. They're small enough to carry in your bag all the time in case the need arises. I did not achieve full size images on an APS-C sensor when using these. The storage case they come with isn't great, but I didn't buy them for the case.

Takes getting used to focusing , other than that and the narrow depth of does what it is meant to do.

These are great filters! I also have a Macro lens but I can get the same quality shots with the filters. Since they're lighter weight than the Macro lens I usually carry these with me while in the field and use the Macro for studio shots.

Very pleased by the results.

• Close-up lenses are high-quality optical magnifying lenses which shorten the close-focusing distance of the lens. It allows the lens to go closer to the subject than before and to achieve a larger image scale.
Close-up filters are available in three diopters (strengths). Close-up +1 Diopter (101), Close-up +2 Diopter (102), Close-up +4 Diopter (104)
