Still working with the Macro Zoomer. Took time to get the camera adjusted to it. Do like that I don't have to attach several lenses to do macro photo.

Planning on using for smaller macro photography. Only found one issue. When zooming aperture fails at about 67. It no longer functions pass that. If you go passed that point it is best to remove to avoid damage to it or your camera then reset it to a lower number.

Doesn't work with 105 Macro lens or 40 - 70 or 28 - 300 zoom lens. Won't autofocus and light meter does not work. Manual focus is impossible because you can not turn the zoom ring without some channel locks.

It is a good concept, and it works as it is designed. However there are a few issues with the design. 1. The minimum distance of 46mm is too much for smaller focal length, i.e. less than 50mm. 2. The maximum distance is decent but for long telephoto lenses, I need more length. 3. I bought it for Nikon and found that it only works on G Lenses (No Aperture control as this is only electronic). Since many of my lenses are not G, this became an issue. 4. For me, AF also failed when mounted on G Lens, in that AF was hunting. However this is probably not the fault of these tubes. In short I would say that it is good to use with a normal telephoto, 60mm-150+ focal length, and beats changing/stacking tubes in the field, but if you want to use it on wide angle or really long lens (e.g. 300mm) this may not be enough.

This is an adjustable focusing extention tube that works smoothly. Pro Optic extension tubes are the first set allowing to adjust the distance between your lens and camera's body in smooth and easy manner. Focusing distance may be adjusted between 46 and 68mm. This will enable you to easily set the desired focus distance. The tubes function exactly like zoom lenses. By rotating the tube, you can increase or decrease the distance of your lens.
