Shopper : What about a similar device for Canon EOS? Thanks!JOSEPH S : see aboveGEORGE S : There is one.REJON S : They make ones for the canon mount, try searching for it.SEVA B : This is just an extension tube. They are made by different vendors like Kenko and OEMs (Canon, Nikon etc). with the former you need to find a set to match Canon lensmount.
Shopper : do this work with nikon 3200 with what lens?THOMAS G : With the Nikon mount on the Pro Optic lens extension, yes it will work with any lens that fits your Nikon camera. It has gold points that allow the lens to still communicate with the camera to autofocus, autoexposure and set the aperture for close up work. Of course, it has to be removed to use the lens in normal subject to camera distances. The purpose of this device is to extend the minimum focusing distance to capture object closer than the minimum focusing distance of the lens used without the extender.SAMRAT B : I do not think autofocus will work.... but it can definitly be used with manual focus... In fact, with 21 mm and 31 mm tubes, it is better to use manual focus.REJON S : YesMICHAEL B : The Raynox attaches to the Front of the Lens - it still allows for auto focus. I have no experience/information concerning the pro optic.
Cheryl A : Do they offer this for Canon?JOSEPH S : yesGEORGE S : YesREJON S : YesANDREW R : Unfortunately no, we do not appear to offer a Canon compatible version at this time.

Better then several lenses to attach

Still working with the Macro Zoomer. Took time to get the camera adjusted to it. Do like that I don't have to attach several lenses to do macro photo.

Minor Aperture Issue

Planning on using for smaller macro photography. Only found one issue. When zooming aperture fails at about 67. It no longer functions pass that. If you go passed that point it is best to remove to avoid damage to it or your camera then reset it to a lower number.

DON'T BUY THIS

Doesn't work with 105 Macro lens or 40 - 70 or 28 - 300 zoom lens. Won't autofocus and light meter does not work. Manual focus is impossible because you can not turn the zoom ring without some channel locks.

Good concept but has limits

It is a good concept, and it works as it is designed. However there are a few issues with the design. 1. The minimum distance of 46mm is too much for smaller focal length, i.e. less than 50mm. 2. The maximum distance is decent but for long telephoto lenses, I need more length. 3. I bought it for Nikon and found that it only works on G Lenses (No Aperture control as this is only electronic). Since many of my lenses are not G, this became an issue. 4. For me, AF also failed when mounted on G Lens, in that AF was hunting. However this is probably not the fault of these tubes. In short I would say that it is good to use with a normal telephoto, 60mm-150+ focal length, and beats changing/stacking tubes in the field, but if you want to use it on wide angle or really long lens (e.g. 300mm) this may not be enough.
