Question for Joe F.

Joe, which Nikon 500mm f/4 are you using? I will be using the older MF Nikkor Ai-P lens.Does this filter fit snugly, or did you have to shim or add foam to it? What's the inside depth? What's the depth from the inside front to the set screws? If you also have the Ai-P, what camera are you using it with? II am a Canon guy; I know how to make that work. However, I have been looking at other adaptable cameras that have In-Body Image Stabilization. I'm worried about vibrations from my clock drive affecting longer exposures. Any other tips you can offer will be appreciated.

Happy with my purchase

I bought this for the upcoming Solar Eclipse and have done a few test shots that I am quite happy with. I am putting this on the end of my Nikon 500mm F4 lens.
