This unit is designed to allow accessories that require an SCT Thread to be attached to the ETX series of telescopes

Meade EXT to SCT adapter...

I took a small risk in purchasing this part without truly knowing if it would work with my vintage Celestron C90 Maksutov telescope. Needless to say it was a perfect fit, precisely machined with black anodizing. I can now use all of my 1.25" eye pieces. I highly recommend this part.

get one of these!

I have a Meade ETX 90 that I had taken off its fork mount. By adding a Vixen style dovetail, I was able to use it on my EQ and Alt/Az mounts. The only problem was that the main eyepiece port was in a fixed position. I had to bend and twist to use it. This adaptor collar allowed me to use the rear camera port for my standard 1.25" diagonal and eyepieces. If you have an ETX that has outlived its mount, get one of these!
