David L : i want to upgrade my meade NG125mm Maksutov/Cassegrain  telescope that has a 1 1/4 diagonal to an 2" diagonal, can this fit with special threaded adapters?WRIGHT C : As long as you have a 2” receiver it will fit.
Todd M : Does this item come with a Schmidt-Cassegrain adapter? It’s not listed as in the box but on Meade’s website (which linked me here) as well as others it is present.ANDREW R : I believe that the adapter is included.
dominick s : is this the piece i need to use the bigger eyepieces ,the eye pieces i use now are1.25 ?WILLIAM H : Yes. I've used this diagonal on my LX200 telescope with 2" eyepieces including the Teleview Nagler series. I highly recommend it.JONATHAN S : Yes. To use 2 inch eyepieces you need one of these. You can still use your 1.25 eyepieces using the adapter. Jonathan Slack

Great star diagonal. Wish the optical path was shorter.

Very sturdy, great image quality. I only wish the optical path was shorter. The eyepiece-side tube doesn't need to be so long. If it was only 1cm shorter, I could use this diagonal with my Binotron 27 binoviewer. But, because the path is too long, I can't achieve focus on my Meade LX600 12" ACF, so I have to use a 1.25" diagonal, which is not as robust when carrying the weight of the binoviewer and the eyepieces.
