A chance to Explore the Heavens

A Great telescope for your children and grandchildren! It comes with almost everything needed by someone that wants a chance to study the sky! This one is for my Grandson that has always shown an interest in STEM! I hope this keeps his interest and pays off in the future. I own a similar Meade scope and love it!

Great starter telescope.

Love this telescope. Easy to locate specific stars and I have adapted a camera to the unit to capture images.

Poor instructions

Cant see anything, Instructions are not clear, can get the audio to work, again instructions are not clear. All I see is a white circle , very frustrating

Perfect go anywhere telescope!

this is a downsize scope for me. have had many much larger scope's. 70+ years i struggled to set them up. this little scope is perfect for me. optics and drive work very well. I also enjoy F15 focal length. for 127mm aperture excellent planetary detail i would tell anybody that's tired of setting up Behemoths and back and forth with equipment. buy it and spend time observing instead of setting up.

Meade etx125

very happy with it so far - used to have a 14" Celestron in a dome for 30. We moved to a more urban area but still wanted something. For its size and price this is a nice instrument and pretty stable. Good fork mount and tripod.

The ETX 90 Observer fully equips the modern explorer with a sophisticated, automated and portable telescope. The ETX90 Observer has a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design for pinpoint star images and extraordinary contrast, making it a great deep sky performer and ideal for detailed lunar and planetary observation at high magnifications. The Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) give maximum light transmission, ensuring the brightest images and the highest contrast. It has a flip mirror included to let light focus to the rear of the telescope (instead of the mirror reflecting the light 90 degrees to the eyepiece), allowing attachment of a camera on the back of the scope (adapters not included).

The ETX90 Observer comes with a bubble Level/Compass to make sure your tripod and mount are level. Includes a portable but extremely stable full size steel tripod and comes with an equatorial tilt plate, allowing for polar alignment which is critical for long exposure astrophotography. Also includes a hard carry case for the mount/optical tube and accessories and a tripod bag for the tripod.
