The LX85 Series 70mm Astrograph has a 4-element petzval optical design with FPL 53 ED (extremely low dispersion) optical glass for outstanding contrast and sharpness as well as near zero detectable chromatic aberration or "color fringing." Features a 70mm aperture, 350mm focal length and f/5 focal ratio. Equipped with a 2.5" dual rack & pinion focuser (10:1 fine focuser)f or ultra fine focus control and fully multi-coated optical coatings. Includes a fully extendable dew shield and vixen-style dovetail. Standard equipment also includes an aluminum hard carry case to protect your Astrograph. The OTA alone weighs 4.5 lbs and has dimensions of 12.25" x 4.5" x 5.5".
