Love the scope it went together easily and the testing went without a hitch. Now if the skys would clear I could use it but I guess that is not the fault of the product. Patiently waiting for the Florida skys to clear.

Wonderful scope! It’s the biggest diameter portable scope that only requires one person to set up. The tripod is plenty sturdy for the 12” scope but needs to be leveled in order for tracking to work properly. All Messier, NGC, Caldwell, and SAO catalogue numbers are in the database. Finding extremely dim deep sky objects down to magnitude 15 (14 for galactic nuclei, 12 for good galaxy structure) can be done if the skies are dark enough. If you’re just looking at bright objects, a manual scope will be quickest, but for deep sky objects, they can be found with ease after a 1-2 min alignment. Even if you need to slew 180º across the sky, it only takes 10-15 seconds to move between objects. Close objects can take as few as 2-3 seconds. All in all I’m extremely happy with the quality, precision, and viewing power of this scope and recommend it to anyone as a final telescope upgrade.
