From the cube-shaped structure of common table salt to microorganisms within a drop of pond water, the Model 9200 enables the inquiring child or adult hobbyist to explore a hidden realm of unimagined detail.
With its all-metal body and optical glass lenses, this smallest of Meade microscopes nonetheless includes quality components throughout for years of sharp, high-resolution observing.
Included with each Model 9200 are three turret-mounted objective lenses (4x, 10x, and 40x), combined with a 10x wide-field eyepiece, yielding effective magnifications of 40x, 100x, and 400x.
Precise focusing of the image is by means of a rack-and-pinion focusing system. Standard equipment also includes a 6-aperture rotary diaphragm for lighting control, and a substage condensing lens. As an introductory microscope, there is no finer instrument available.
Each Meade microscope model is packed with a complimentary set of five ready-to observe prepared animal and vegetable slide specimens, plus five blank glass slides for your own specimens.
