Meade MAX Aluminum Wedge for 16" LX600 Telescopes

The Meade MAX Aluminum Wedge converts a 16" LX600 from alt-azimuth to equatorial mounting, allowing long exposure astrophotography and imaging. This extremely heavy duty wedge allows for secure and stable mounting with exceptional vibration damping.

This precision CNC machined wedge is constructed from ultra-rigid aircraft grade aluminum with smooth, accurate altitude and azimuth adjustments while setting a new standard for equatorial stability. It allows uninterrupted tracking from horizon to horizon through the meridian. For use with the Meade MAX tripod as supplied with the 16" LX600. Wedge can also be pier mounted (hardware not included).
