Excellent telescope for this price range
This is an excellent telescope. It's easy to set up and easy to align. Once aligned, it finds objects and tracks them perfectly. The two eyepieces that come with it work well but I would still recommend purchasing a Barlow and maybe some good Plossl eyepieces. I have no complaints whatsoever with this telescope.
Great for astrophotography
Great company to order from. And great products. I have used the Meade 125mm MCT StarNavigator NG for the last four months and have enjoyed the visual as well as photographic aspects of this telescope. When the Meade 125mm MCT StarNavigator NG and its ability to track the planets, and is paired with an astrophotography. The images come to life. There are so many modes and options. Going to try and photograph the space station soon.

Powered by 8 AA batteries (user-supplied) or external power you will see more objects in a single night than Galileo saw in his lifetime!

The Meade AudioStar features audio files and an internal speaker. This computerized celestial object locating system plugs into the telescope's handbox port allowing a quick telescope alignment.
Once aligned with the sky the AudioStar is ready to take you to any object in the over 30,000 object database. In addition to GOTO and tracking capability the AudioStar permits a wide array of fascinating and educational functions such as multiple Guided Tours, digital positional readouts, the ability to link with a PC using optionally available software and cord, and much more.
AudioStar Controller #07640 is compatable with the StarNavigator, ETX, LT, LX80, LX90, and LXD75 series telescopes.
