Shopper : does this screw onto telescope?HARRISON B : Yes, it is threaded and screws into the telescope. The camera side matches the camera lens mount system. It is a quality adapter which permits the lens to function as a quality telescopic camera lens. It works perfectly with my Canon T3a.JAIME V : I bought this for someone else, so I don;t have first-hand info. However, this is what I found: This replaces the eyepiece holder on the back of the telescope. You also have to purchase a camera mount adaptor to attach your camera.PETER G : Yes.unscrew the existing visual back and screw this in.you will need the appropriate T-adapter for your camera/dslr.BOB C : Yes, one end screws into the back of the scope and the other into a "T" adapter that connects to the DSLR camera. So besides this camera adapter, you will also need a "T" adapter for your camera.

#62 T-Adapter: The T-Adapter is the basic means of prime-focus photography through all Meade SCT Series models. Thread the T-Adapter on to the rear cell of the telescope, followed by a T-Mount for your 35mm camera, and the camera body is thereby rigidly coupled to the telescope.
