Norm R : Does this include both the inside and the remote units?BILLY B : Yes it does! But sometimes the digital lettering gets a bit hard to read. All in all its a good product. ROBERT S : Yes it does. I like my unit...it works well as advertised. I only wish the base unit (pictured) displayed both the inside (base) and outside (remote) temperatures at the same time instead of the temp and humidity for one location only. But since it's the outside temp & humidity that I'm most concerned with, I leave the base unit set on the remote channel and just press the "channel" button a few times to see the inside T & H.DANIEL B : There is an outside sending unit that registers the temperature and the unit itself gives the indoor temp.DON S : Yes, this includes both the inside and outside (sensor) units.KEN P : YesDON M : This unit comes with the base unit you see in the picture along with a separate, small transmitter that you can place in a remote location. I have the main unit in the hallway and the remote in my attic. That way I can read humidity/temp highest/lowest and present settings in my attic from my hallway.JAMES P : Yes but I can't get the outside info to show on the base unit.
JAMES P : How do you get it to read outside temp. I've tried without success to do this?ROBERT S : Jim, I know it sounds silly, but check your batteries in the remote unit. Installed correctly? Your remote's red light should flash periodically indicating it's sending its signal to home unit. If your base unit is showing inside temp. & humidity, press the channel button 1, 2 or 3 times to select the channel your remote has been set to for transmitting. You will get a digital reading for out side conditions when the base unit is on the channel corresponding to your remote channel. To display Inside conditions, press the channel button repeatedly to get back to the "IN" screen. I leave my unit on the Outside channel and when I'm interested in the inside conditions I just click on the channel button repeatedly till the inside screen appears, then click back to the outside temp channel and leave it. I use one wireless remote sensor on my back porch and a second in my greenhouse.
avi L : i do not want to use lithium batteries. will the aa work also ?DANIEL B : They will work as long as the temperature is over 32. I went out and bought 4 lithium batteries at Home Depot for 6.99 or 7.99 and they work just fine.

Great Product

I love this unit. This purchase was a replacement of a similar unit that I had for many years, which was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. It is easy to read, with large numbers for the temperature and humidity, and has other indicators for weather trends and pressure systems. I only need to change batteries about once a year. I have one for the front of of my house with the inside register in my bedroom, and a second unit in the back yard with an indicator in my kitchen. Both units are very accurate, and are almost always within a very small range of temp with the online weather reports.

Personal Weather Station TM005x-M. Reads indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity in up to three locations. Includes a single remote TS33C-M model sensor with 164 foot (50 meter) range. Expandable to monitor up to a total of three outside or remote locations with the addition of up to two more TS33C-M sensors, sold separately. All remote channels auto-scan when connected.

Requires two AA type batteries for the main unit and two AA batteries for the remote sensor. Batteries not included. Suggested operating temperature range is -40F to 122F (-40C to +50C) if using lithium type batteries. Reads humidity as percentage with a range from 20% to 95% and records minimum and maximum temperature and humidity for both indoor and outdoor locations. Wall or desk mountable.
