Shopper : What is the 9 ID # on the back? If it is Q9PTS33-C, it should be compatible with Honeywell with the same # (operates on the same frequency).
Shopper : Does it include a sensor?John A : This is a temperature and humidity sensor and shows both readings on the unit (stand alone) or the data can be transmitted to Meade weather stations (after set up) which handle multiple sensors in various locations, for example outside, the attic, garage, etc.LEW M : This is the sensor. It has a small display for the temp on the front, but is meant to be used as a remote sensor for a base unit that has a larger display and other information. The base unit must be purchased separately.ANDREW R : This unit is the sensor. It is an accessory designed to be used with a compatible base station.
Alan L : Is this product interchangeable with the honeywell brand? The item looks identical. Only he lable on the outside is different. (Honeywell vs. Meade) even the model number is the same TS33C-mANDREW R : Unfortunately compatibility with Honeywell units is not specified.

Top Quality Temperature and Humidity Sensors

I ordered two of these sensors for my Meade weather station as it handles multiple temperature locations. The sensors function perfectly showing both temperature and humidity on the units themselves and can transmit information to the weather station. When they are set side by side they show the same temperature and humidity, and match another digital thermometer, so they appear to be calibrated correctly. I like Meade's quality. I have several of their products and would definitely recommend these sensors to others. I would also recommend Adorama because they had the best pricing and shipping deal on this item. Even though the product was sold out - they did not charge me until the items actually shipped in secure packaging shorly thereafter.

Good replacement unit

Works well with a Meade weather station purchased several years ago. Original sensor was smaller and used AAA batteries. Damp weather caused it to fail. Prefer the AA battery this unit takes, and the fact that it seals better against the elements.

Wireless remote temperature and humidity sensor TS33C-M for use with Meade weather stations. Reads outdoor temperature and humidity and transmits up to 100 feet (30 meters) on one of three transmission channels. The built in LCD display shows temperature and humidity and temperature is user selectable to be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Indoor/Outdoor humidity range is 25% to 90%. Wall mountable.

Range is dependent on base station pairing and environmental factors. Requires two (user supplied) AA batteries. Suggested operating temperature range is -40F to 122F (-40C to +50C) if using lithium type batteries.
