This is my favorite all time laptop bag. Large enough to fit even the largest gaming laptops and sturdy enough to take most anything. Mine rode and protected my r17 around the country in a semi truck. Its sling is adjustable and comfortable, its storage is plentiful and secure. You can easily bring drives, controllers, cables and still have room for more

I bought the bag a year or so ago as a school bag, and i've been using it almost everyday to hold my 18in laptop, a note book, and other small things. The nylon hole where the shoulder strap tore and can't be fixed, and I was very surprised and disappointed to see how bad it tore. Also, a few small pieces of my laptop broke off when it fell less than 3 feet on to a carpet floor. Would not recommend, and will not buy this bag type again.

I can easily put my Alienware 14 or Alienware 17 in this case and also my cooling pad which helps for air flow. The TSA part I get to use on April 11th to fly excited!

Initially I was impressed with this bag but after very limited usage the handle tore off and is not repairable. A bag designed specifically for a large and heavy laptop should have indestructible handles to support the weight. This bag is not worth purchasing. You will be disappointed.

I use this bag for my laptop everywhere I go. I love the fact that it's easy to clean, and very well padded. My laptop weights a ton due to it's size, and even the strap is super comfey. It was well worth it's price and im glad I purchased it with my original purchase being a first time laptop user.

Pros Was a Little unsure if it would be strong enough after reading some reviews about straps breaking with the 17" Alienware laptop, but when arrived I found it more than capable to support the weight of the 17". Lots of room for accessories, good padding and protection and looks good. Cons None yet

I use this bag while traveling, carrying: * 17" alienware * 15" macbookpro * Power adaptors for both * Logitech G700 gaming mouse * Alienware TachX Headset * Gaming (stiff) mousepad This bag easily carries all of these things, comfortably, and fits comfortably on planes. The hard front cover creates a cavity which prevents your fragile items from being crush. The bag is very well designed, allowing quick and easy access to almost all areas without needing to put the bag down. The only negatives here are the pocket on the extreme front are basically unusable, and the bag is generally a larger messenger bag.

I purchased this bag to use with my Alienware M17X-R3 (Best laptop I've ever owned!). After three or four months of use, the seams began pulling apart. A call to Dell/Alienware support revealed this defect was not covered, so I was out of luck. Three or four months use for a case like this ($100.00) is inadequate. I found the shoulder strap dug into my shoulder as well. It was not a comfortable bag to carry this way given the weight of the M17X-R3. I would recommend a bag (back pack maybe?) which better distributes the weight and has better padding in the straps. On the good side, it is very convenient to use when going through TSA security. unzip and lay it flat. I've never had any problems.

This bag was exactly what I was looking for to get my Alienware M17x around. I tried many other bags, but others were too tight of a fit, poor quality, or lacking in storage compartments. This bag delivered on every aspect. Laptop fit perfectly, great build quality, never feels like the strap is about to snap off due to the bag's weight, and there is plenty of room for whatever else I need to carry.

I had purchased this bag at the same time I had purchased a laptop. What caught my attention to this particular bag was its ease of passing through airport security without having to remove the laptop. The quality of this bag was more than I had expected. A great asset!!

Great pack! ~Pros~ Plenty of pockets to store things. Great durability. (Ex. Strap held by metal clips rather then plastic, Zipper sturdy and bottom held together by soft rubber.) Holds pretty much anything you need to bring with a laptop and then some. I was able to easily pack my m17x laptop, AC adapter, Targus hd3 gaming chill map, mouse, and my ps3! ~Cons! Strap can be a little uncomfortable. (takes a little adjusting of straps)

This bag is finely crafted with high-quality materials and is bigger than I expected, with plenty of room to hold everything I could possibly need when travelling. This is great because many airlines are allowing only one carryon and can be really unyielding when you try to tell them a computer bag is not a "carryon." I can even use one pocket for spare underwear, toothbrush, etc. I can live in an airport without my PJs, but not without my laptop!

Ok, besides the fact that this thing is BULKY as heck. It has enough room to carry my AW M17X R3, plus the gaming chill mat, my mamba razor MMO mouse, AW mousepad, the powerblock, external HDD, my programming book, my notepad, a few pens, my NVIDIA 3d Glasses, earphones for class. And not to mention, the padding, and security scan part for the laptop itself. Pros: Fits everything nicely. Cons: Bulky and when everything is in it, weighs like 25lbs and can't fit my turtle beach headset in there lol.

As mentioned in other reviews, this bag has lots of room and pockets to put your accessories. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the stitching around the d-rings which support the shoulder strap is very poor quality. Within 35 days of light use (only using the bag to carry the M17x the strap broke which dropped the case and caused damage to the laptop. If you decide to purchase this product for an M17x or for a laptop which is heavier than the M17x, I recommend you make an effort to reinforce the bag to avoid damage to your equipment. This product may be acceptable for lighter equipment.

I travel weekly and have to carry 2 laptops. I like the bag a lot. It has lots of room, and I can get it under the seat on the plane. The issue is durability. I have tried to repair it twice. The strap used to hold the "D" rings on the bag (shoulder strap connectors)have broke loose from the bag. This is not an industrial strength bag. Would likely work well for a casual / home user.

Really like the layout of this bag and it fits my Alienware M17X laptop well. Biggest complaint would be that the stitching that the shoulder strap attaches to the bag with ripped off only after a handful of uses. Plus this apparently isn't covered under the lifetime warranty either, which is frustrating since that was one of the main reasons why I got this over the backpack.

The Orion Messenger Bag from Alienware® is designed to accommodate Alienware M17x laptop. It has enough room so that last week I traveled with one M17x, one E4200, and one Ipad, all in one bag.

PROS Bag offer a lot of space. In terms of storage room the bag is a gem. The TSA friendly envelope is a charm when crossing security chekpoint at airport. I would have rate that bag 5 stars 2 weeks ago. CONS My M17xR3 is kinda heavy and I loved the padded shoulder strap on the bag. After less then a month of using it, the sewing on the nylon that hold the strap in place is already broken! FINAL I expected a much more durable bag for that price and Im truly desapointed. I dont recommand that bag for any traveler.

It is enormous but then again it has to be to hold the 17" laptop I have. It has a lot of pockets and areas to put stuff. There is a lot of padding too so it seems like it is pretty safe. I am glad I bought it!

Lots of space. Holds everything well. Not so many pockets that you lose stuff but enough so that you don't have everything in the same compartment. Use an Alienware M17x and its a tight fit to slide the laptop in and out. The slot for the laptop says "CheckPoint Friendly" which is really nice. It will fit under most seats in airplanes. Aisle seats seem to be better as there is less other safety stuff under the seat in front. Durable and cushioning. Hate to admit it but I dropped the bag with laptop in onto the floor about 3 feet below and the laptop was fine.

The bag is great! with the M17x in it with my mouse, mouse pad, cooling pad, head set and other things that I need it weighs about 20-25 lbs but at the same time it is well crafted and it is able to hold everything I need/want it too! The bag is built to last and the fact that it is TSA friendly is even better!

I bought an Alienware for school and while leaving my fiancee's house, placed my computer in this bag behind my car. I went to lock her door and forgot that I had the bag on the ground behind the car and not yet in my trunk. Then the unspeakable happened...I ran over my computer and dragged it across the driveway and onto the street. I was horrified at what I might find because of the grinding noise I heard from within the car. To my suprise, when I went to get my computer this bag had a few ...

Bag holds all my gear: M17X, G15 Keyboard, Power Adapter, mouse, TactX headset, games....with a little room to spare. The M17X is kinda heavy but the strap on the bag makes it fairly comfortable. Was a good investment.
Carrying your gear in the Alienware Orion messenger bag is as comfortable as it is convenient due to the extra-thick, padded shoulder strap. Alien accents throughout the bag, including the bold, black chrome Alien Head icon on the front, set this bag apart from the crowd. Accommodates large laptops up to 17.3".
