Does the job

I bought this device so I would have a compact, non computer backup solution when I'm in the field for several days. I shoot RAW and I use it to transfer images from full CF and SD cards so I can keep on shooting for days at a time. It takes about 2 minutes per GB to transfer the images. It works as described. The view screen is somewhat small for critical reviewing. RAW images take a second to be processed and come into focus but JPGs come up right away. I can see the RAW images from my Nikon D300 but not from my FinePix X100, so newer RAW formats won't be supported - not a problem unless you need to use it as a viewer, which I don't. I can't comment on its ability to play music or videos as I don't use it for that. Bottom line is it does what I need it to do and does so reliably.

This product is all you need from a PMP!

This little thing is just great! I wanted to buy the Epson for a long time but was set back by it's large size (heavy) & price!
