Chuck D : Is this heat activated or peal & stick? I need something similar to Seal's "Colormount" or Savage's "Filmtax" heat activated boardsCHRISTY D : These are only mounting boards. I do use heat and the glue paper on them. You can use something different to affix a photo to these if you want as these do not come with any type of glue.CHARLES N : Boards are nothing more than heavy duty cardboard ...white on one side and black on other. For mounting, you need to use "double-side" photographic tape to postion photo on board and hold it in place. So, this product is not similar to either Seal's or Savage products.
Shelley R : What is the thickness of single-weight versus double-weight?CHARLES N : The single-weight thickness (both black/black & black/white) is1 mm. The double-weight thickness (sometimes called "heavy weight") is 2 mm.CHRISTY D : The single weight is the average used for mounting photos. It's about an sixteenth of an inch thick where as the double is obviously twice that.
Kevin V : Is one side of this mat board black and the other white? So, if I can mount a picture on the white side the back will be black? What about the edges are they black or white?ANDREW R : Yes, one side of this mat board is white and the other is black. The edges along the white side will be white, the edges along the black side will be black.

Mount boards do the job!

These boards are black on one side and white on the other. Edges are white ( grey). Cut very precisely . Works great for 4 by 6 and 5 by 7. Best way to show your pics at the office and home. I only mount the pics I like and then I rotate new ones in every month!
