An unparalleled masterpiece in the world of synthesizers, the Moog One 61-Key 16-Voice Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer is a tri-timbral, polyphonic analog dream-synth that stands as the pinnacle of Moog's innovative design. Engineered to ignite imagination and creativity, this synthesizer opens the door to vast new realms of sonic potential. As the first polyphonic analog synthesizer released under the Moog brand in over three decades, the Moog One is a testament to years of meticulous research and development, crafted to exceed the expectations of any polyphonic Moog instrument enthusiast.
Available in both 8-voice and 16-voice configurations, the Moog One's polyphonic sound engine is built on the most powerful synthesizer architecture ever employed by Moog. Each voice is equipped with three newly-designed analog Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs), two independent analog filters, a dual-source analog noise generator, an analog mixer with external audio input, four Low-Frequency Oscillators (LFOs), and three envelopes. This robust configuration allows for an endless expanse of motion and creative freedom.
The Moog One's expressive 61-note keyboard, crafted with a premium Fatar TP-8S keybed featuring velocity and aftertouch, provides a dynamic playing experience. Each of the three timbres can be effortlessly split or layered, each with its own sequencer, arpeggiator, and onboard effects library, including a suite of professional reverbs from Eventide. The synthesizer's front panel, housed in a hand-finished Ash cabinet and aluminum enclosure, boasts 73 knobs and 144 buttons, inviting a tactile connection with every sound-shaping and performance control.
For those seeking to delve deeper into sound creation, the Moog One offers extensive modulation and effects processing. Its internal Modulation Matrix provides visual access to every possible combination of the instrument's synthesis and controller components. The synthesizer also features a growing library of programmable per-synth effects and master bus effects, such as chorus, delay, phase, bit reduction, vocoding, and Eventide's premium reverbs like Blackhole and Shimmer.
The Moog One's dual-source noise generator, mixer, and dual analog filters comprising a newly-designed multimode State Variable Filter and a classic Moog Ladder filter enable a vibrant spectrum of classic, obscure, and entirely new filter sounds. The synthesizer's tri-timbral design allows for voices to be assigned, split, layered, or stacked with up to 48 oscillators in Unison Mode, each equipped with its own step sequencer, arpeggiator, and effects processor.
Connectivity is comprehensive, with two assignable pairs of stereo audio outputs, four assignable inserts, two external audio inputs supporting XLR and 1/4" input, MIDI communication via 5-pin DIN and USB, and nine configurable CV inputs and outputs. The Moog One also supports system backup and restore via USB drive.
With its ability to store and recall tens of thousands of presets, the Moog One ensures that your creative environments are preserved and easily accessible. The User Space feature saves global behaviors, MIDI settings, and more, while the Snapshot Button captures and recalls time-stamped pictures of presets, facilitating seamless experimentation.
In essence, the Moog One 61-Key 16-Voice Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer is not just an instrument; it is an unprecedented conduit for the expression of your creative voice, offering nearly infinite possibilities to sculpt, shape, and transform sound.
