Shopper : Are these a bright sounding speaker?STEVE B : Maybe at first, depending on what you're used to. In my experience, they conform to the input source over time and reproduce the sound realistically. A lot of the bang for the buck, imo. I did get them on sale, however; but I have no regrets about the purchase.

I really can't complain...........

The speakers sound great and they were very inexpensive. They arrived in excellent condition and look mostly new. Magnat is one of those unknown German speaker brands here in the USA. It's well built stuff. These 503 bookshelf speakers have plenty going for them. I wish they were 8 ohm only. When something is rated 4-8 ohm, it's not 1 or the other, it's based on averages and that should be 6 ohms. Bottom line, use 1 pair only. Probably all you'll need, these do get much louder than expected.

Awesome Clarity

Def let them warm up for a few days my initial impression was underwhelming but after about a week the clarity and fullness really started to shine hear things in movies I've never heard before def recommend for front l/r speaker's!

Very Very good speaker!!!!

These Magnat 503's are VERY detailed sounding at this price point. The 3 Way speakers give a nice sound in particular the mids and highs! Soundstage is magnificent! I paid 149.99 for these beauties on sale! I'm happy!!! Using in a desktop application. Get'em!!!!

Magnat German brand is impressive!

Beautiful, well built speakers, satin finish face and beautiful Mocca wood cabinets. The sound is excellent, and I am still breaking them in. Nice compact size, with a unique 2-tweeter setup a Tweeter/Super-tweeter.

The Signature 503 is, as a shelf-top speaker, the most compact representative of the new 500 range. As a three-way system, it combines the hi-res dual tweeter module with a 17 cm bass-midrange unit. It unites all this in a footprint smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and a height of 365 mm. The sturdy MDF housing is available in elegant finish black ash. It is just as practical as a compact stereo solution as it is when using it as a surround sound speaker in a home cinema set-up. Thanks to identical components like the front panel systems, it delivers an absolutely homogeneous soundscape. The Signature 503 is the best proof that perfect sound does not necessarily require huge speakers.
