It works on the newer DS20 apparently but not on the older DS 20 with the dovetail plate . Miller 489 sliding plate is what you need for older DS 20 fluid head

Tough to review. A QR plate is a QR plate to me, unless it's garbage materials ore something. I needed one, so I bought it. But it's an exorbitant price for such a simple thing. I purchased one and converted with a Manfrotto receiver to accept all the other much more affordable QR plates I already have.

These are a great improvement over using the usual longer Miller plates on small mirrorless cameras. I have a lot of the 490 plates that I use on my DS-10's. Trying to shoehorn those onto the bodies of my FX30's is a non-starter. They are long and stick out far from the body - so far that it makes bag storage tough. These short plates are much smaller and the screws are closer together so it works better for the smaller cams. I have a cage on my FX30's so I can use both screws to ensure a tight fit that doesn't slip and need re-tightening every time you take it off the pod or adjust your shot. My one ding on these is that they don't lock into place and can slide out either front or back if the knob isn't tightened closing them in place. The 490's are long, but they have a catch that prevents you from losing the camera by forgetting to tighten the side knob.
