This is a quality tripod. I've been through the cheaper tripods and if you want one that will last and grow with you, this is a great option. I did a lot of research and am extremely happy with my purchase. The only downside is the extra quick release plates are very expensive for a simple piece of aluminum, but there are ways around that.
