The cup holder tablet holder is actually more solid than I had expected it would be. I pull a travel trailer and my map programs and my tire pressure monitoring system are monitored on my 10" tablet. My wife shares the monitoring duties and the cup holder monitor mount makes it easy to turn the screen in whatever direction we need it turned. I use the shorter extention arm to minimize vibration and happy to say there is little to no vibration of the tablet while in motion. The only reason it didn't get the 5th star is because the expansion anchor loosens up and occasionally needs to be tightened up, not hard to do but needs to be done. We do turn the screen back and forth from time to time and that may cause the loosening.

I purchased this for use in the car for hand-free driving and still having all the conveniences of a computer at my fingertips. It is well made; the metal construction appears very well made; the locking mechanisms work perfectly but it takes a little use of the product to become completely comfortable with all the swivel options available; setting this up was easy and it grips the tablet securely. I would not recommend this product if it was made from plastic but since it is metal, I can feel comfortable in getting many years of use from it. It is worth the price for a one-time-only purchase.
