A Must Have For The Traveler
A great device for travel... Perhaps a must have. It functions very well for daily tasks, and handles multi-tasking nearly effortlessly. I have not used it for industrial level programs like CAD or Photoshop, but I routinely run Office, Firefox, Chrome and iTunes concurrently, and it keeps up. I have tried some light VM operations with Virtual Box, and that runs into a noticeable handicap thanks to the display resolution and could benefit from a true quad-core i5. But the biggest handicaps of the system, which are the loss of a star rating, come down to two things; the excessive costs of extra RAM and Storage, and the Windows 10 OS. Quite honestly, I wish I could give Apple [Mac] OS a full run on the device. But for that matter, I wish I could run a regular Apple OS on an iPad.
In short, if you travel regularly and can afford it, get one. Just remember to get a rugged case for it (UAG Metropolis recommend), glass protection, MICROS and the Type Cover... it will set you back another $250, but it's better than crying over the most simple accident or torment of trying to pare down a media library.

Surface Pro 6 - Great Computer!
The Surface Pro 6 has been excellent in every way. We have transitioned away from both laptop and desktop computers because of the Surface. Super light, easy to transport, and all of the functionality of a desktop computer!

Great for college
I bought this for my son to use at college. I can use all of his engineering programs on it. It meets all his needs and is very lightweight.

Upgraded from an iPad, and I’m much happier with the full desktop experience that the Surface Pro 6 provides. Build quality is solid, keyboard type cover is awesome.

Worth it!
Great for on the go projects, I personally love it cause I can take my work anywhere weather I’m working with pictures, videos or illustration it gets the job done.
