The Midland LXT118VP is an extremely compact FRS/GMRS two-way radio with a maximum range of up to 18 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than 0.5 mile in urban conditions). The LXT118VP is a handy choice for family camping or hiking trips or staying in contact with your kids when they are roaming around the neighborhood.
It is easy to use and a good radio for situations where size is more important than power. This radio supports all 22 FRS and GMRS channels, provides eVOx hands-free operation & channel scan. The LXT118VP operates on 3 "AAA" batteries (not included) or rechargeable batteries (rechargeable batteries are included in this value pack).
