My intent was to use as a tablet replacement and second computer. Use it for internet searches and reading news paper. Screen is plenty large for the paper. No expanding the screens as I did with 7" screen. Also installed photoshop Elements for some editing while traveling.

I had a few hiccups with this computer at first, but now it's coming along pretty well. It's a decent option if you want a surface, but don't want to shell out $ for it.

Bought this at a sale price of ($), a very good bargain for what you get which is great build quality, more than adequate performance, a beautiful screen, and Microsoft even let me upgrade it to Windows 10 for free. I bought it because I really don't like bringing laptops on trips or out on the field. I use a Mac at work and a great old dell laptop at home and this just fits the bill. Only 4 stars because of the usual niggles you get from Windows.

Bought it for my wife and from the start she has only troubles with it. Slow gmail syncing, sleep of death, sound problems, poor battery life. Would not recommend until Microsoft solves their problems with this device and OS.

It is unusual in my experience to find a retailer than beats the pants off eBay, Amazon, and Best Buy, but Adorama did just that. I got my order in 4 days, and with bonus extras saved $

The Surface 3 is a Great Tablet. The keyboard and pen make it all the better.The 128GB with 4 GB of Ram runs very smoothly. I am not a gamer so I have no idea about that. Battery life has been excellent. The battery charge is a little slow. WiFi connects flawlessly. I would buy this again and also recommend it.

The bundle I got around Christmas may be better than the current price, but it was a no-brainer for me at the time. I got twice the RAM and onboard storage, plus a mouse and software bundle for less than $50 more than what I paid elsewhere. There are plenty of reviews elsewhere, but I'll just give one tidbit that I wish I'd known: There is two-finger scrolling with the trackpad on the keyboard/cover thing. It [works poorly] with Chrome. It is very good/smooth with the new Edge browser. If you are a Chrome addict, this may be a deal-breaker for you, honestly.
