Great for the price
This mouse is great, but a compromise. I like a heavier mouse (more mass) but I bought this for travel with a notebook computer, so light weight was critical. I'd like a bit of detent feel to the scroll wheel (which I can't seem to make less sensitive), but it works well and is very smooth. Needed to use it because all those iOS devices with swiping is giving me tendonitis!

Great Laptop (or even Desk Top) Mouse!
Bought this for my sister-in-law for use with her laptop, but have used it many times myself. This mouse is excellent for personal every day web browsing. I like it much better than my wife's MS 3000 and the MS Optical wired mouse I use with my desktop. Can't comment on gaming or professional use. When I need a new mouse this one will be a top contender.

Worth of it's price
Its good looking with a good grip. Besides, it is equipped with everything desired in a mouse: Speed, ease of use and long battery life.

Really good mouse, bad scroll wheel thou
The mouse has a smooth scroll wheel. I like scroll-feedback with my mouse, prefer logitech in this respect. But this mouse is fine too, battery life is great and the build is solid.

Micro receiver died
Comfortable mouse, overall quality feels nice. Yet, the micro-receiver died after a week.

Piece of junk
Amazing how horrible this mouse is. I bought one and in 2 months the roller ball would stop responding. I would scroll and scroll and the page would not move. I replaced the battery and still nothing.I visited MS tech support online. Their online support system was down for at least 2 weeks (I tried every day to submit my request, but each time I got a message to the effect of "the site is broken the appropriate people have been notified") So I tried calling tech support twice. Both times my call was routed 3 or 4 times and then was dropped.DO NOT buy Microsoft hardware. If it breaks you are on your own.
