the reciever part that plugs into the USB port is very small not like others that protrude several inches and get in the way.

Pretty good!
I bought this mouse to help me with school assignments. Using the trackpad, on my MacBook pro, to do digital design homework was kind of hard. The mouse is fast and portable. I love that it has a space to carry the little USB receiver and that it has a power button to conserve battery life. (It also has an automatic shutoff like most others.) however, the whole design seems a little weak. The plastic receiver feels like its gonna break if you use it too much. Other than that the mouse is great!

The best wireless mice forever!
I just bought it from Adorama and, wow, it's an amazing product by Microsoft! I just love it. I previously had an ASUS wire mice but it was broken so that I purchases a wireless one. Trust me, it worth the price. Everything is perfect!
