Good Travel Mouse

I bought this for travel with a laptop. It's larger than the "micro" sized mice I've seen so usable with my large hands, but enough smaller than full sized to leave me a few extra square inches in my bag. Decent feel. HOWEVER avoid frustration by doing the following. (A) Check the battery that is packed with the mouse. Mine was a Duracell so I blithely installed it without looking at the battery. The mouse was constantly disconnecting. Maddening. I finally pulled the battery. It had an expiration date of Feb 2014. I replaced the battery with one having a 2020 expiration date. Got a faster connection but still disconnected repeatedly. So... (B) Go into Device Manager in the Control Panel. Look for USB hubs. My Dell Inspiron has 3 USB ports, so 2 generic hubs and one master hub showing a device plugged in - the tiny RF connector for this mouse. Right click on each hub, which brings up different tabs. Then click on the properties tab. The box "allow computer to turn off to save power" was checked for each USB hub. I unchecked that.and voila (French for slapping myself upside the head) the mouse was not disconnecting. Hope this helps others avoid frustration.
