This docking station also provides the charging power you need for your laptop. With up to 96 watts of power passthrough, you can take your laptop battery from low to full in approximately two and a half hours. Plus, the extra power can be used to charge your phone and other accessories.

The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station is designed for cross-device compatibility. It features certified USB4/Thunderbolt 4 host and ports, ensuring standardized connectivity with Surface and other USB4/Thunderbolt 4-compatible devices.

The design of this docking station is inclusive and thoughtful. It's built to empower people of all abilities, with versatile rear-facing ports featuring raised tactile indicators. This allows users with low vision or without vision to more easily identify ports.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station and its power supply unit enclosures (excluding the AC cable) are made from 20% ocean-bound plastic. The dock also features lighter materials than our previous models. We've also removed single-use plastics from the packaging, making it approximately 99% recyclable in OECD countries.

The Surface Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station is optimized for Surface Pro 9, Surface Pro 8, Surface Laptop Studio, and Surface Laptop 5. With high-speed USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports, it connects to Surface and non-Surface devices, providing the highest speed data and file transfers. Use it with USB4/Thunderbolt 4-enabled devices to connect up to two 4K monitors at 60Hz. The docking station also features 3 USB-A ports (1 front-facing, 2 back-facing), 3 USB-C ports (1 front-facing, 2 back-facing), and a USB-C host connector with an indicator.
