Excellent manual focus lens for the Fujifilm GFX50Sii, super sharp at all apertures, well built, easy to focus, only issue for me is that the aperture ring is clickless, but this is a personal preference, I do like clicks that lock the aperture in place. I photograph mostly models and not moving objects outside the studio under bright light conditions. Manual focusing is not an issue for me and my photo process is slow paced.

Shameful vignette. i understand that this is an off brand and it's pretty inexpensive, but the vignetting is really harsh

I didn't expect how sharp this lens is. It is actually sharper even wide open than my Canon 85mm 1.8 stopped down. Absolutely quality-engineered. If this lens would have an autofocus it'd be my always on lens. And this is one of its 2 slight drawbacks. It got no AF and it is very hard to find a focus with the razor thin sharpness layer. If you're working with a Canon, I recommend getting Magic Lantern and enable focus peaking. Second is its weight. This lens is heavy, almost 1 kg (heavier than a 5D Mark IV). Thats no pleasure to carry around for a day. Apart from that, its an awesome portrait lens that can easily keep up with the Canon 85 1.2 at half the price tag. If you're flirting with the idea of getting this lens, I can absolutely recommend it.

I purchased this lens to use both as a manual focus lens on the K-series of Pentax dSLRs and as an adapted (non-native) AF Lens on the Sony E-series bodies via the Tech Art Pro adapter. Overall, the optics are smooth, responsive and crisp centrally, with slight IQ falloff at the periphery. This lens, nicknamed "The Dream" by Zhongyi, is a substantial beast that earns its marks wide open. If you're in the market for a fast portraiture lens that rivals some of the better glass from Zeiss, look no further. While the stowage case is meager and not very attractive, the lens itself is a well-constructed beauty.

Heavy metal lens that rocks. Smooth focus and f/stop collars, but note that the f/stop ring is linear which means non linear number spacing. You can see this for yourself after examining the photographs of the lens. This is not a problem for me since I shoot wide open with auto iso. As with any manual lens focusing can be difficult on a DSLR not equipped with the proper focusing screen, but using a Sony mirrorless not so much and the resulting images are quite good. IMHO, equal to the old Canon FD 85mm 1.2 lens, but not quite as good as the EF 85mm 1.2. But then again I did not buy this lens for ultra sharp wide open images and I did not want to waste my money buying a AF lens that has to be manually focused anyway. Another drawback of any super fast semi telephoto is weight. I would not choose this lens if I were going out for a long all day hike, I would pick up the a6300 with a 55mm 1.8 instead. Bottom line pick what best works for you and leave the MTF charts behind.
