The MuXLab HDMI Matrix Switches utilize HDMI or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables, offering cost-effective connectivity. They are capable of connecting remote displays up to a distance of 230 feet (70 meters) at 1080p Deep Color, using Cat 5e/6 UTP/STP cables. This makes them ideal for a variety of applications, including classroom projector systems, digital signage, boardroom systems, multi-room systems, classroom training, retail systems, collaborative PC systems, and medical information systems.

These matrix switches are designed to work in harmony with MuXLab's HDMI Receiver models (500451-RX, 500454-RX or 500454-POE-RX), ensuring seamless integration. Note that the 500451-RX model does not support RS-232 and PoE functionality.

The MuXLab HDMI Matrix Switches support HDMI 3D and offer HDMI input with a resolution of up to 1080p. They also support HDBaseT output and feature configurable EDID settings.

For ease of use, these switches come with a touch pad on the front panel for manual control. They also offer device control over HTTP protocol and feature RS232 and USB CDC control. The firmware is field upgradable, ensuring your switch stays up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.

These 2U rackmount units are HDCP 1.4 compliant and come with a web interface for easy setup and management.
