Be at the forefront of audio-visual technology with the Muxlab Multimedia 16x16 Matrix Switch System, a versatile and modular AV switching platform designed for the UK and European markets. This advanced system seamlessly converts and switches a broad spectrum of digital and analog AV inputs to HDMI, utilizing HDBaseT technology over Cat5e/6 cable for superior signal quality and reliability.
The Matrix Switch boasts an 8-slot chassis, accommodating up to four 4-port input modules and four 4-port output modules, offering a maximum switching capacity of 16x16. This flexibility ensures it can meet the demands of complex AV setups, from digital signage and retail AV signal routing to professional video editing and multimedia entertainment centers.
Management of the Matrix Switch is user-friendly, with options for control via the front panel, RS232, USB, and a web server interface. It also supports integration with third-party drivers, providing a versatile solution for diverse AV needs.
The system is equipped with dual-redundant power supplies, ensuring uninterrupted service and ease of maintenance. It works in harmony with the 500451-RX HDBaseT receiver, converting all HDBaseT transmissions back to HDMI for a streamlined AV experience.
The Matrix Switch supports a variety of input modules, including HDMI (with and without stereo audio out), HD-SDI, DVI, and VGA, and output modules such as HDMI, HDBaseT, HDMI Output Card with Audio Out, and Fiber. This wide range of compatibility makes it a versatile choice for various applications.
The Multimedia 16x16 Matrix Switch is also Control4 compatible. The Control4 driver allows seamless integration with Control4 home automation and commercial AV systems via RS232 and LAN. This feature enables AV sources to be switched to any HDMI display via a single user-friendly interface, making it an ideal choice for boardroom projector systems, classroom training, medical imaging, courtroom systems, rental and staging, video kiosks, airport video information systems, and emergency operations centers.
