The Maglite 120 V AC Charger Adapter V2 is for Maglite Charger System. This is the new-style AC adapter for use with the ARXx185 charger. If you have an old version Maglite Charger System (Pre-2005) with the square plugs, you will need the Universal Adapter ARXx228.
