My favorite flashlights

I've been using them since I was a young kid, and I haven't found anything as durable or reliable. And they're made in the US! Here are a few things to keep in mind. First, if you let batteries die and corrode inside the body, they can expand, get stuck inside, leak, and weld the end cap shut. The light is pretty much ruined after that. If you plan on storing them for a long time, use lithium batteries. Otherwise, make sure you keep a fresh set of batteries inside. That's not much of a problem if you use it a lot. Second, there is an extra light bulb in the tail cap beneath the spring. It took me a while to realize what that little red tube was. All in all, these are great lights.

Better and brighter than ever.

Our last MagLite disappeared years ago (I think a serviceman may have mistakenly appropriated it) so we finally replaced it with a couple of new ones from Adorama. The handy little MagLights deserve a place in anybody’s toolbox. Particularly older folks whose eyes need a little extra light. The price was right and shipping was fast.
