Works well
This system works well but it's rather heavy so your flash head will tend to move. Also, the magnets tend to come out.

Magmod gels
I found the gels and the holder very easy to use. We were doing a vampire shoot and needed a bright red gel on one speedlight. It was an easy install and use. I loved it - no rubber bands holding the gel to the speeedlight and I could easily combine two gels to make a custom color, too!

I have been using MAGMOD for 3 years now, it is the best, most compact system out there. I have borrowed other brands and types of modifiers at times and nothing compared to the quick, easy and fulfilling job these products put out. I hope to make a couple of the MagBox systems my next purchase.

Solid and Well Made
Certainly a kit built to last a very long time. Great materials and quality. A breeze to use. Gels go in pretty easy. The Mag Grip may be a little difficult for some to install on the larger flash heads, but not too bad. Also, one trade off with the quality and beefy magnets is the weight. I use mostly in studio so they are on stands but might be a factor if you use it on an on camera flash all day. Yeah, it is probably the most expensive fast attach gel/grid system but it is very durable and should last a lifetime under normal use.

great starter kit!
