Love MagMod products.ED T : Been using the MagMod flash attachment system for several years. Needed another Gel holder for additional flash unit. What I don't like about Magmod is you can't buy individual gels in that you have to buy a whole kit in order to get one gel. Therefore, making your own gels that fit in these holders is very easy.JAY G : To hold my flash gelsSHANNON F : I had to. Because of the way you market, making customers think this comes with the bundle, I was forced to buy it because it doesn't come wit the bundle at all. Why is it prominently pictured in the bundle if it's not included? So very frustrating and misleading. Very expensive piece of gear to lose. And it's easy to lose.
I know folks love these, but I honestly don't understand how they stay on other folks' flashes. Maybe I have a defective maggrip or something. If this falls off your camera on a job you're out $60, because you have to buy their entire gel set again to replace the gel or gels that were in the holder when you lost it. After just a few jobs it's fallen off numerous times, and of course I finally didn't recover it this last job. I'll probably opt for the round-head Flashpoint speedlight instead of trying to make this system work for me, as the sphere is also constantly falling off when it's on a flash on the side of my bag, which is the only place you can keep it since it makes your flash head so insanely bulky.

Love this!
The gel holder allows us to swap gels in and out with ease, and popping it on the flash is a cinch. It helps us be more creative on the fly and save time!

MagGel works like a charm!
I love the concept and have purchased a MagGel for all 3 of my flashes. Easy to use, strong hold on whatever I attach to it and it has made my life a whole lot easier. I do not have an assistant so this has been a time saver for me. My photography has improved with their modifiers and gels. Great company, great product!

I absolutely loved this product! I used it for the first time at a wedding this week and the outcome was breathtaking!! I loved the ease of switching the gels and how quickly it attaches to my speed light.

gels have never been more convenient
I never use gels at weddings. It?s just too much hassle. I?m sad I didn?t find this product sooner. This is awesome!

What I can do with colour and light control, as well as the gobos in the magbeam kit, allows me to enhance my creative portrait portfolio, while keeping the products portable so I can always have with me on the go. I just wish Magmod had offices in Canada so I didn't have to pay duty on online orders. :)

I am a MagMod junkie!
When I think of all the money that I’ve spent ( wasted) on gels, and holders that were flimsy, hard to work with etc....the MagMod gel system is BRILLIANT! It is sturdy, easy, fast, and it makes using gels a breeze! They connect to your flash instantly using the Mag Grip which uses some really strong magnets. I am totally hooked on their whole system!

Favorite purchase this year
I bought a Magbox recently and enjoy its portability, but when I found out there is a Profoto mount available, it became three times more usable! Love the system!
