Variety is a must
I had the basic set of MagMasks which led me to make my own. Finding that this was a time-consuming task, I bought the other two sets. Having my own unique masks is nice as they are a great way to personalize my work, but the real MagMasks are hard to beat. Tough and durable stainless steel construction is much easier to work with than my laminated posterboard masks. One improvement I would like to see an easier method of mask/gel installation like a drop-in slot if this is possible. It would sure make changes on location faster and easier.

The magmod system, as an amateur photographer is a whole heap of fun. The ability to create amazing compositions with my speed light (that really was just collecting dust) has encouraged me to get my camera gear out Of the bag and take photos again! The pattern cards are a whole heap of fun and now fight with my kids to use it..... looks like an additional kit is required! Best purchase of the year!
